Our local company has been proudly serving the community and travel industry for over 50 years. Our mission has always been to provide quality services at competitive prices to our customers, and offer reliable transport across South Wales, the UK and Europe.
In 1967, Thomas Coaches was founded by owner Mr Walter Glyn Thomas. The company specialises in providing high specification single deck vehicles for the travel industry. Then in 1996, Walter’s wife Judith and son Ian formed a second business, Thomas Of Rhondda, which has continued to thrive alongside its parent. Today, we are still operating from the old ‘National Welsh’ bus depot in Porth, South Wales, approximately 18 miles from Cardiff.
Although we are not a tour operator, our vehicles and drivers are regularly contracted by local operators for use on their pre-planned tours. They are also available for hire to the public, and we can assist with hotel bookings, tour guides and much more to help your trip run smoothly. Some of our other services include:
